Welcome to ELEVATE: Leadership Summit 2023!

This year’s summit is all about how we are going to level up – or ELEVATE – our game to achieve our ambitious 2023 performance goals. Across each of our strategic business priorities, we are taking it up a notch (or two!) as we Play for Keyps. From leasing and renewals to elevate occupancy, to service costs and cash-to-cash days to elevate profit margins, and much more in-between, we’re optimizing key aspects of our business to further position FirstKey Homes for continued long-term growth and success.

I am excited for our entire leadership team to connect and have meaningful, healthy discussions about what it will take to reach our company’s goals – together.

During the summit, we’ll roll up our sleeves, dive into the opportunities ahead, and further define how we can elevate our performance as leaders for our Keypers and family of residents.

Additionally, we’ll hear from inspirational speakers who will share their insights, experiences and best practices with us. We’ll also work together to strengthen our business, explore new ideas for achieving our goals, and give back to our local communities.

I encourage everyone to approach this summit with an open mind, a lot of energy, and a willingness to learn and contribute. This is a chance for us to challenge ourselves and each other constructively with the goal of gaining new insights and a shared understanding that will help us advance as a company.

To ELEVATE your 2023 Leadership Summit experience, all attendees will have access to a mobile app that is tied to our event. The mobile app will work with Android or iOS devices. The download and use of the mobile app is completely voluntary and not required to have an enjoyable experience. If you do elect to download the app, you will receive your login information closer to the event. If you would like to get a head start and download the app, follow the instructions below.

  • 3Elect to download the vFairs app
  • 4Once the app has downloaded, open the app and select your preferred language
  • 5Select if you would like to receive notifications.

Notifications would include items such as reminders about upcoming sessions, notifications of changes, and more.

This feature will not take effect until you have logged in. You will receive your login information closer to the event date.

Event Location

Our 2023 Leadership Summit will be a hybrid experience that combines in-person and virtual components.


In-person requirements:

  • Corporate managers and above who are located in the Greater Atlanta area will need to plan on being present in the Atlanta corporate office Monday, July 24 – Wednesday, July 26.
  • Corporate managers and above who are located within driving distance (without an overnight hotel stay) of a FKH market office will need to plan on being at that office Monday, July 24 – Wednesday, July 26.
  • Corporate managers and above who are fully remote with no FKH market office within driving distance will attend the summit remotely.
  • Market managers and above should plan to be at their local office. If your position requires regular business travel to a particular market area, you will be expected to participate from that office.

The leadership summit is an annual event hosted by CEO Colleen Keating focused on investing in and developing the leaders of FirstKey Homes. This year, the summit will be conducted in a hybrid format, combining both in-person and virtual components. Our leaders will join together from the various FKH offices and utilize the vFairs platform integrated with Zoom to connect nationally.

All travel should be coordinated through the SAP Concur system in accordance with the FKH T&E Policy found on Keypernet.

While key content will be shared virtually, group discussions and networking opportunities will be conducted in-person.
Using the vFairs platform, a dedicated virtual discussion room will be established for remote employees who do not reside near, or regularly travel to, a market office.

Please note this is reserved for managers and above who were hired as a remote employee and is not at your discretion. For questions regarding your in-person participation or local office location, please reach out to your manager.
Our summit will be a blend of live, semi-live and pre-recorded sessions. All content can be accessed via the vFairs platform and vFairs mobile app. You will receive notification once the event platform is open.
Yes. Opportunities for networking and socializing will be available to you both in-person and virtually.
For consistent participation in online learning, adequate internet access is required. Summit content can be accessed on digital devices such as laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
Live chat and/or Q&A will be available for all session participants to interact with speakers before, during, and after each session through the vFairs platform.
Select summit content will be available on-demand after July 26.
Yes. All attendees will be given the opportunity to provide feedback on different sessions and evaluate the summit.
Light fare and refreshments will be provided at each FKH office location. If you haven’t done so already, please record all dietary restrictions in your profile.
